Senior UX Designer

<p><strong>Your role</strong></p> <p>Join us as a talented <strong>Senior User Experience designer</strong> at Oracle NetSuite in Barcelona! By being embedded in the <strong>Templates team</strong>, you will focus on our <strong>design systems</strong> while leveraging your UX expertise to innovate and provide coherent product experiences. You’ll contribute to creating the best in class templates, that leverages our components and modules, for our product teams to build extraordinary experiences for our customers.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will work closely with the Templates team Senior Manager and your role will focus on discovery and product design within the Templates space while working with a <strong>multidisciplinary team</strong> of product managers, UX designers, researchers, content designers and engineers to produce top-notch template experiences. You will be responsible for bringing all the knowledge about the award-winning <strong>Redwood design system</strong>, which we apply to our product, to ensure its principles are well understood and implemented.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will be part of a <strong>cross organisational team</strong> that is constantly <strong>evolving our design system</strong>, collaborating with multiple product development teams in Oracle NetSuite globally. You will adapt the design system across our products, uphold brand standards, and ensure consistency in the user experience.</p><p>Career Level - IC3</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>You will apply <strong>critical thinking, design methodologies, and creative problem-solving</strong> to produce design solutions against the ongoing requirements.</li><li>Leverage and expand upon our <strong>design system</strong> to ensure consistency across products and platforms.</li><li>Work with <strong>multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams</strong> of product managers, engineers, test engineers, designers, researchers, and writers in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Produce <strong>high-quality UX artefacts</strong> that will support both the problem space and solution space as part of the discovery process.</li><li>Produce <strong>advanced Figma prototypes </strong>to demonstrate experiences to stakeholders and finalise <strong>technical specifications</strong> for engineers.</li><li>Become the expert on the <strong>Redwood Design system</strong>, to align on best practices and include as part of design solutions.</li><li>Present <strong>design alternatives</strong> and effectively <strong>communicate design rationales</strong> and trade-offs.</li><li>Demonstrate a passion for <strong>iteration </strong>and being eager to receive feedback.</li><li>Manage and prioritize<strong> multiple projects</strong> of varying timelines, degrees of complexity, and scope.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications/Skills</strong> </p><ul><li>Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>7+ years of professional experience, preferably in the software product development industry.</li><li>Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to produce advanced prototypes and design specifications.</li><li>Demonstrate an expert-level knowledge of design and user-centred processes.</li><li>A self-starter who can take directional input and execute independently.</li><li>A stunning online portfolio showcasing your design process and a spectrum of innovative user-centred design solutions.</li><li>A positive and resilient personality, with the ability to embrace feedback and a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.</li><li>Excellent communication skills; office and company language is English.</li><li>Experience with ERP and/or “big data company” and working in a design system is a huge plus.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Our Company Culture</strong> </p><ul><li>We help each other and foster collaboration across roles and teams.</li><li>We lift each other up, celebrate successes, and learn from failures.</li><li>We consider ideas, no matter how simple or outlandish.</li><li>We always strive to do the right thing for ourselves, the product, and our customers.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Why Oracle NetSuite</strong></p><p>Oracle NetSuite is a global leader in cloud-based software, offering a <strong>unified business management suite of applications</strong>, including financials, ERP, CRM, and e-commerce to more than 38,000 customers.
