We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to support scheduling and inventory management for our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with our Planning Manager and play a critical role in ensuring our production runs smoothly and efficiently by coordinating materials and aligning scheduling with demand. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and have a solid understanding of production processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts and inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Updating ERP/MRP configurations to reflect resources, schedules, and priorities to enable automated scheduling to run effectively.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to communicate schedules, production capabilities, and inventory needs as needed.
• Work with Planning Manager to analyze production metrics and make adjustments to schedules as needed to meet service and efficiency goals.
• Generate planning reports to track production performance, inventory levels, and waste reduction.
• Assist in the identification of process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning or related roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other planning software; experience with MRP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to improving processes.
• Experience in the nutraceutical or supplement industry is a plus but not required.
