Landscape Store Manager

Description

Plaisted Companies in Elk River is looking for a Landscape Store Manager to provide customer service and inventory management assistance to store operations.

Position Details:

• Has an active involvement in customer contact to ensure continual opportunities for new, additional business which is profitable
• Provides customer service to phone customers as well as customers within the store, greeting customers on arrival
• Enters product orders for customer pick up or delivery. Provides quotes for future projects
• Assists in the implementation of store sales programs reporting the activities and results to the Store Manager
• Reconciles the cash drawer when assigned as well as preparing the bank deposit as  assigned
• Assists in performing modified cycle counting reporting any low inventory results
• Cleans the outside areas of the store to ensure they are clean and present a pleasant appearance at all times to include sidewalk, parking and display areas
• Prepares and/or reviews shipping paperwork on sales to ensure accuracy and completeness, maintaining the documentation as required to achieve billing
• Coordinates with Store General Manager, warehouse and purchasing to assist in  forecasting future sales and maintaining adequate inventory on hand to supply customer needs
• Responsible for providing training to new staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driver's License
• Management Experience (Required)
• Landscape Industry Knowledge (Preferred) 
• College Studies in Business with training in Sales and Marketing (Preferred)
