Job Summary: The Sr. Food & Beverage Manager reports to our Director of Outlets. Our ideal Sr. Food & Beverage Manager will oversee and manage the day to day operations of the Food & Beverage outlets which include OCEAN2000 Restaurant, O2K Lounge, Room Service and Mini Bar.


The Food and Beverage Manager will manage the Day-to-Day Operations which includes but not limited to:

  • Ensure professional and courteous service to all guests in the outlets by table touching.
  • Interview, hire, and train all new hires on company/hotel standards of service.
  • Continuously mentor and develop team members.
  • Liase between front of the house and back of the house employees.
  • Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met.
  • Work on special projects as assigned incl. marketing outlets to local area and participating in off site events representing      OCEAN2000 Restaurant.
  • Completing and assisting with monthly inventories
  • Assists in the ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.
  • Supervises daily shift operation and ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
  • Operate all department equipment as necessary, troubleshoot &/or report any malfunction.
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Assists supervisors in understanding team members continuously changing needs for guests, expectations, and how to exceed them.
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees.
  • Supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Organically readily available and approachable for all team members.

Requirements

 Requirements:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must also be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these essential functions of the job.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred &/or equivalent 4+ years of experience with F&B Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and/or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Requires excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of table service standards.
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Be available to work a flexible work schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
  • Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
  • Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
Salary Description $70K - $73K per annum
