Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent professional to fill a full-time Intake and Development Program Director position in the Colorado area. The Intake and Development Program Director is responsible for ensuring quality outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the critical processes of initial development and approval of contracted providers, and manage the intake procedure for incoming individuals requiring services.
  • Facilitate essential collaboration with Individual Support Team members, including but not limited to operations personnel, Case Management Agency representatives, Program Directors, guardians, individuals served, and consultants. Ensure timely and effective communication regarding incoming individuals and orchestrate seamless transitions.
  • Execute initial case management tasks for host home providers, classified as independent contractors, and individuals receiving services from Dungarvin. This responsibility is crucial for maintaining service quality and compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive support, guidance, and rigorous contract oversight to host home providers and persons served during the onboarding process. This role is vital in ensuring adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field is preferred, and one year experience working with persons with disabilities
  • Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have working experience within the Human Services field that includes at least 3 years’ direct experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programs and regulations related to developmental disability services.
  • Must have good decision-making, time management, and communication skills.
  • Must be responsible, mature, and flexible. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
