Reporting to the Senior Vice President and US CFO, the Senior Director, Market Access Finance and Gross to Net Forecasting will be responsible for managing the forecasting and planning for US Gross to Net components for Teva portfolio. You will interact with Pricing, Market Access, Patient Services & Demand forecasting teams to understand brand trends and movement to forecast customer / channel mix and relative rebate rates. This group will work closely with brand finance, Revenue Accounting, Market Access contracting and field teams, Treasury, demand forecast and the Pricing teams. You will need to meet company-forecasting deadlines and be able to strongly interact with stakeholders. Net Collections Forecasting: This role will be responsible for net collections forecasting on a periodic basis that aligns with planning calendar deliverables. This includes collaboration with Treasury, Rebates and Medicaid teams to quantify timing of payables, deductions and gross collections based on sales mix across the business units.
Market Access Contracting: This role will partner with Payer Marketing & Market Access contracting team to challenge, evaluate and align on Commercial, Medicare & Medicaid supplemental contracting proposals both in terms of strategy and key metrics. The role will provide and/or coordinate feedback and impact analysis versus current forecast and/or budget assumptions prior to and leading up to presentation and approvals with senior leadership.
IRA Responsibilities: This role will collaboration with Government Policy and Payer Marketing as a key point of contact for finance with regards to assessing impact, providing various data points and coordination of data submissions with regards to IRA components and MFP negotiations. This may include involvement with 3rd party assessments. This work will also inform GTN forecast updates where appropriate.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Parsippany, NJ headquarters.
How you’ll spend your day
- Responsible for the review of all deductions (rebates and chargebacks) associated with US Portfolio.
- Develop cash flow forecasts that enable Treasury to more accurately anticipate cash flow patterns.
- Give clear instruction to direct reports regarding forecasting deliverables and effectively highlight risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with all cross–functional areas including Pricing, Marketing, Market Access and Finance to ensure successful execution of strategic goals and financial deadlines
- Interact with Pricing Group and Contract Administration to ensure pricing / contracts are up-to-date.
- Demonstrates professional standards with business contacts in order to maintain Teva's reputation within the pharmaceutical community.
- Work closely with A/R to align cash flow forecasts with Treasury
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline
- Master’s Degree in Business or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
- Previous leadership experience and experience managing projects
- Advanced computer skills such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Alteryx and familiarity with the internet
- Demonstrates an understanding of pharmaceutical drug distribution process including discounts, rebates and Market Access.
