About the role
Commercial Equipment Technician (Refrigeration/Cooking)Albuquerque, NMDescriptionResponsible for performing repair, maintenance, installation and/or preventative maintenance for commercial cooking or refrigeration-related food service equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, ovens, ranges and similar equipment. Technicians will be provided with a company van, appropriate inventory to perform service calls and a work cell phone and tablet. Technicians must be comfortable with or willing to learn how to document all work performed on an iPad. This position is an excellent cross-over opportunity if you have any mechanical training (auto, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and are simply looking for a change. - Typical pay range is $28.00-40.00 per hour based on experience and certifications

- Repair, maintain, install or refurbish equipment according to an established service schedule, company and factory standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
- Apply knowledge of products and seek additional training and education as appropriate.
- Document legibly and accurately all work completed and submit such orders to office personnel according to company policy.
- Work closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of work.
- Maintain service vehicle in a clean manner at all times, perform preventive maintenance and maintain a vehicle logbook on service/repairs done on a routine basis.
- Keep vehicle stocked with a sufficient supply of parts and tools.
- Build and maintain customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
- Offer assistance and instruction to employees as needed.
- Train new employees on all aspects of the Field Service Technician position.
- Develop and implement quality control training for Field Service Technician employees
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
