Drop Count Lead - Full Time INTERNAL BID (Caesars Casino)

 

Job Summary:  Supervises all members of the Drop Team and CountRoom team in the absence of the Count Room/ Drop Supervisor.  Assists all team members in the dailyoperations of the Drop and Count operation by providing a positive workenvironment, encouraging teamwork and cooperation within the department andother departments.

Heldaccountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records andreports, conducts necessary research to effectively resolve count roomdisputes.

 Must possess good communication andorganizational skills.

 Directs and coordinatesthe property’s countroom functions in the absence of the supervisor to provideaccountability and control of funds.

  Insures thesecurity of countroom operations.

  Maintains fullcompliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as state regulationsrelating to the Countrooms. 

 Assists in the supervisionof  the operations including acceptingdeliveries, ordering and picking up equipment and supplies.

 Ensures theintegrity of all Count Room Transactions

Coaches assigned personnel in the performance of theirduties.

  Insures equipment in countrooms is in goodoperating condition at all times. 

Displays compliance with safety policies and procedures.

 Performs dutiesas assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encouragesothers to do the same. 

Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheresto regulatory, departmental and company policies.

CollectBill Validator boxes from slot machines on casino floor as quickly as possibleeach day in order to minimize the amount of interruption on the gamingfloor. 

Thedrop functions include but are not limited to drop set up, bill validatorreplacement and retrieving from slot machine and transporting of the BV cartsto the soft count room.

Utilizeall drop equipment in the manner for which it was intended taking special carearound gaming tables, slot machines, upholstered furniture, and doorwayscontaining millwork.

Assistother departments with special projects that relate to the drop process orrequire specialized use of the drop equipment.

 

Qualifications:

Knowledgeof SDS procedures preferred. Must be computer literate and possess basiccomputer skills.  Adding machine,  currency counting machine skills helpful. Basic mechanical (repair) ability preferred. Must have great attentionto detail and work well with direct supervisor. Must be able to interpret andcommunicate instructions to co-workers. Good organization, communication,leadership and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work all shifts. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.  Must present a well-groomed appearance.  Must possess or be able to obtain aMississippi Gaming Work Permit.
