Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) - General Internal Medicine

Gundersen Health System is seeking a .9 to 1.0 FTE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our General Internal Medicine department, in Onalaska, WI. You will be joining a team of primary care clinicians dedicated to the General Internal Medicine setting.  This practice is located in our Onalaska campus.

 

Practice Highlights:

• A purely ambulatory practice with a Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• No inpatient responsibilities (hospitalized patients are admitted and cared for by our established hospitalist and inpatient medical services
• No at home call or overnight coverage responsibility
• Epic EMR
• Physician led Multispecialty group practice

Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.  Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician.  Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.  Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all clinicians.
