We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our accounts receivable process.

What you will do:

  • Customer Inquiries: Handle the finance inbox. This includes researching issues, taking responsibility for questions, providing accurate information, and ensuring timely resolution of customer inquiries and discrepancies related to invoicing.
  • Collections Follow-up: Chase down overdue payments with reminders and persuasive phone calls to keep accounts on track.
  • Bad debt Management: Experience with bad debt management and following up on problem customers. 
  • Data Defender: Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our accounts receivable data is crucial. You will be responsible for data entry, record keeping, and ensuring all information is up-to-date.

Who are you:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and proactive—you’re not afraid to pick up the phone to resolve issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word).
  • Experience with HubSpot and/or accounting software is a plus (Exact is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eager to learn and take initiative.
  • English speaker (Other EU languages are an added advantage)
  • You are 32-40 hours per week available
  • You are available to come to our team days on Wednesdays in Utrecht, and the last Wednesday of the month in Amsterdam.
