Senior Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for providing ongoing support in daily delivering team’s task, giving advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues, and undertaking supervision.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities

 

• You reconcile the credit card organization (VISA, MasterCard, etc.) reports with general ledger entries, adjustments, and other settlement transaction functions;
• You clarify and track unexplained general ledger entries made by third party processors, various departments, branches or staff;
• You are responsible for reconciling all summary sheets/general ledgers impacted by the various credit card organization programs;
• You maintain and enhance VBA files and BI tools (e.g. Power Query) to facilitate reconciliation activities;
• You take part in meetings with other teams to share knowledge and also you share the information with the team.

• English and Polish at a very good level
• Previous experience in finance area at least 2 years of experience in accounting/finance/credit card industry
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Problem-solving attitude, logical thinking and ability to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex, dynamic, changing environment
• Knowledge of SAP or any ERP system
