The Senior Principal SEIT Engineer will have a strong background in algorithm development and signal analysis with experience in GNSS anti-jamming and anti-spoofing systems to join our advanced systems engineering team. This position will lead the integration and validation of complex systems where performance hinges on high-fidelity signal processing, algorithmic robustness, and system-level optimization.

What You Will Do:

  • You will play a critical role in connecting theoretical algorithm development with practical implementation and test, ensuring end-to-end system performance through simulation, prototyping, and rigorous verification in lab and field environments.

  • Serve as the technical lead for SEIT activities related to signal processing algorithms and system-level analysis.

  • Drive the design, integration, and validation of algorithms for RF, EO/IR, GNSS, communications, or radar systems.

  • Translate mission-level performance needs into algorithmic and system requirements.

  • Develop and maintain signal models, simulations, and performance tools to characterize system behavior.

  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to integrate and verify algorithms in real-time or embedded systems.

  • Conduct statistical and spectral analysis of recorded and simulated signals to assess algorithmic performance.

  • Lead lab-based and field test efforts, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and sensor stimulation environments.

  • Define and execute V&V strategies, including test plans, performance metrics, and traceability matrices.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to system architecture discussions.

  • Travel up to 25%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience

  • 10 years of experience in systems engineering with a specialization in algorithm development and signal analysis.

  • At least 5 years of experience in evaluating GNSS systems.

  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ for modeling, analysis, and algorithm prototyping.

  • Strong understanding of signal processing techniques such as filtering, detection, estimation, FFTs, modulation/demodulation, and time-frequency analysis.

  • Hands-on experience integrating algorithms into complex systems and validating performance in lab or field.

  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and system lifecycle documentation.

  • Proven ability to work across disciplines and lead technical integration efforts.
