JOB SUMMARY
The Service Coordinator Supervisor will be responsible for directly overseeing a team of ~5-10 Service Coordinators. Service Coordinators support a caseload of in-home caregivers who provide direct care services to Clients in the DSHS Consumer Directed Employer program. The Service Coordinator Supervisor will also assist Service Coordinators with their caseload when needed, as well as provide support to the Program Manager.
JOB DUTIES
- Oversee staff that maintain a caseload of caregivers and assist them with day-to-day employer-related functions and answer questions related to those topics
- Supervise, train, and coach staff on standard operating processes, policies, and procedures
- Display strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to lead teams that include culturally and linguistically diverse individuals
- Resolve escalated complaints from internal and external clients and staff
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Monitor deliverables and ensure the timely completion of projects
- Handle complex service programs and special projects
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Sociology, or Related Field preferred
- 2 years of previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or the elderly preferred
- 2 years previous supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including typing and working with Microsoft Office products
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Bilingual candidates may be preferred
- Able to successfully pass a background check
