Job Summary:
In this role you will be joining a team where our software engineers and architects are developing and maintaining next-generation ground system and related software. Our complex domain requires creative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
We are seeking software engineering professionals to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems and related projects.
Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.
Exposure to various technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, microservice software design, and modern DevSecOps development practices.
Ability to work onsite/in the SCIF. Flexible work schedules available. 5/40, 9/80, 4/10.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of software engineering experience.
Experience with object-oriented software development using Java.
Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices.
Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design
Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems.
Experience with Agile development
Experience with microservice architecture using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
Experience with multiple SW development/OO languages and/or full stack development
Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.

Additional Information:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
