Job Description: 


GDIT is looking for a Information Security Analyst to monitor alerts in real-time from cybersecurity tools and relevant data sources.

Performs triage and short-turn analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents.

Performs detailed investigation of cybersecurity events and incidents with details pertaining to origin, extent, and impact of an incident.

Performs advanced digital forensics collection and analysis on all networks and devices including system image analysis, system and network timeline analysis, and reverse engineering malware analysis.

Performs trend analysis of cybersecurity logs, events, and incidents.

Delivers, operates, and maintains all hardware and software cybersecurity applications, sensors, and tools to provide defense-in-depth from perimeter to endpoint. for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides onsite, hands-on O&M support for client computing devices to include personal computers, thin/zero clients, laptops, Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs), and peripherals. Provides end-user IT system and software maintenance for the USCENTCOM COOP.

Coordinates and manages Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades. Tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle (e.g., Computer Equipment Replacement Program [CERP] and Life Cycle Replacement [LCR]).

Processes end of life, defective, and/or damaged equipment through the Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO).

Develops procedures to facilitate management and testing of desktop load set configurations to include tracking and compiling of user issues, software conflicts, devices conflicts, and other similar tasks.

As needed, may provide CPN and SCO support to Coalition partners, and provide expertise and advice relating to Coalition Partner Networks. 

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and design integrated solutions that meet functional and performance objectives. 

- Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to implement integration interfaces and APIs. 

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in functionality or performance. 

- Document integration processes, including configuration settings, and troubleshooting procedures. 

- Provide technical support and assistance during the deployment and post-deployment phases, addressing any integration-related issues or concerns. 

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in systems integration, evaluating their potential impact on our integration strategies and recommending adoption where appropriate. 

- Participate in meetings and workshops to share knowledge and best practices related to systems integration. 

- Directly support teams with unique Service Delivery related strategy and design, and partner with the operations team to bring designed capabilities online and deployed across the environment.   

- Maintain key customer relationships to support strategic tech insertion and lifecycle replacement of IT hardware for the entire IT Enterprise. 

 

Education and/or Certifications: 
Required: 

- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study and at least 3 years of experience 

- Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification 

 

Desired: 

- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification 

 

Required Skills: 

- Shall attain and maintain a certification for the tool or device that accounts for the preponderance of its time: RMF Certification, DISA eMASS training, Xacta 360 training, OR relevant and equivalent to support existing technology and future te
