Quality Assurance Engineer II (Remote based in the US)

Quality Assurance Engineer II plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our IT products and services. Successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, identifying defects, and suggesting improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Others may be assigned. 

• Writes test plans from written and verbal requirements
• Executes self-written test plans
• Writes test reports from the results of self-written tests
• Uses testing automation, but does not create it
• Follows testing process, but is not responsible for creating or managing it
• Provides input for processes and requirements when consulted

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Three to five years in a Quality Assurance testing role at commercial or government job
• Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrable experience navigating TN5250-based applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400)
• Demonstrable experience querying information from IBM DB2i (no DDL required)
• US Citizenship or Green-card Holder

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

• Pay: $70,096.00-$112,112.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience. 
• Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
