Technical Illustrator/Graphics Intern

KBR is looking for a detail-oriented Technical Illustrator/Graphics intern to learn how to and assist with creating CGM vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Corell Draw. Must have experience using these types of programs. Position is located in Huntsville Alabama.

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual to gain hands-on experience in graphics creation and work with an experienced team of professionals. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Creating CGM graphics from engineering drawings.
• Working with provisioning to provide item numbers for parts.
• Working with technical writers to create graphics for maintenance tasks​.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have undergraduate level training creating graphics.
• Enrolled in an accredited university in an engineering or graphics discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter and self-motivated.
