Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is a beautiful modern facility staffed by highly trained caring individuals. DMH provides an array of technology usually only found in large cities including a 64 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound and ECHO. Other services provided at DMH include surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, home health, nuclear medicine and physical therapy. Our specialty clinic brings physicians such as cardiologists, urologists, orthopedists, dermatologists and oncologists to Taylor County so that patients will not have to travel to surrounding cities for these services.

Job Description

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical equipment maintenance and operation
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Proficient use of hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Assist skilled tradesman with complex repair work
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance program including documentation and upkeep of all PM programs
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of all regulatory requirements local, state, and federal
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g fire alarm)
• Documentation and performance of preventative maintenance programs
• Boiler maintenance and testing of water and chemical for boiler
• Water softener

Qualifications

Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent.  Additional certifications desired.
