Senior Data Insights and Analytics Analyst 

As a Senior Data Insights and Analytics Analyst in Investment Operations (IO), you will play an integral role in providing technical thought leadership across multiple teams and strategic investment management related data initiatives. You will serve as one of the principal relationship owners between our business and technology partners. You will lead engagements that align data solutions to enterprise standards, industry best practices, and business needs. You will add value by enabling new product launches and enhancing existing strategies.  We will leverage your technical expertise to work with complex data structures and provide innovative ways to solution complex data delivery requirements. • You will establish partnerships with business units to build subject matter expertise on data and insights needed to support business outcomes.   

• You will be a partner with data & technology teams to support delivery of outcomes 

• You will design, build, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions in support of enabling insights 

• You will lead large strategic projects from scope definition to execution and implementation.   

• You will be responsible for interpreting and communicating results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and senior leaders.   

• You will demonstrate quick problem-solving skills and the ability to respond creatively to complex issues, using sound judgement.   

Qualifications: 

• You are proficient in one or many coding languages like SQL, Python or PySpark. Experience with Databricks is a plus. 

• You possess 5 to 7 years experience using reporting/data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and SSRS as well as ETL tools like Alteryx or PowerQuery to collect, analyze, visualize and interpret data to derive actionable insights 

• You have a solid background in business intelligence, reporting, data transformation and/or database design 

• You have domain experience in the asset management industry and with investment data that includes: portfolio characteristics, performance, attribution, and other metrics. 

• You have a solid background in translating unstructured business problems into clearly defined requirements and solutions, and provide guidance on prioritizing data requirements 

• You have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts, technologies and effectively apply them 

• You’ve led large scale projects and have had success in leading projects across multiple teams. 

• You quickly establish and maintain relationships across multiple teams to develop and deliver enterpr
