JOB TITLE: Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff

JOB LOCATION: 200 S Laurel Ave Bldg. A, Middletown, NJ 07748

DUTIES: Conduct design and development work for Network Routing Applications. Work in the areas of new products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, hardware/software development engineering, technical security, and QA Design/Certification. Design and develop high-performance network applications using OOP languages like Java, C++ and Python to build

networking logic using protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, BGP-MPLS into network control and network data analytics applications. Use router metric collection protocols like SNMP,

GRPC, Netflow and Router configuration frameworks like Yang models, NETCONF and Flowspec to create new functionality in SDN controller modules based on Open Daylight platform.

Serialize/Deserialize network device configurations to a relational database for protocols like BGP, VRRP, EVPN. Store and retrieve network application and device configurations in relational databases using optimized. Develop secure RESTful APIs for passing networking related data across app components. Perform test driven development and create automated unit test cases and end to end test automation for all development tasks. Optimize network applications for security, performance, reliability and scalability. Build containers, virtual machines, and automate deployment and configuration of the same using openstack and or other virtualization techniques. Utilize configuration management tools including Ansible and Chef to automate the provisioning, deployment, and management of infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments. Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring seamless and automated processes from code commit to deployment. Conduct system audits, including security and performance reviews, to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Ensure security compliance by implementing OAUTH, RBAC, certificates and encryption mechanisms. Apply normalized database design, optimization, and management in MySQL. Apply understanding of cloud services including Azure, virtualization including KVM and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Build containers and microservices. Apply knowledge with scripting languages like Bash, perl, and awk for automation tasks. Apply knowledge of SQL, E-R diagrams, ORM mapping and database transactions, triggers, and stored procedures. Apply knowledge in Linux usage and certificate/keystore management. Applying knowledge with multi-threading safe programming, real-time systems, and inter-process communications. Apply knowledge of cyber security best practices. Apply knowledge with version control systems including Git.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree Computer Science, Computer applications, Information technology, or Computer Engineering. Requires experience, coursework and/or project experience applying understanding of Layer 3 network routing protocols including one or more of the following: OSPF, ISIS, and/or BGP; applying knowledge of Router

metric protocols including one or more of the following: SNMP and/or GRPC; applying knowledge of Router configuration frameworks including one or more of the following: yang models, NETCONF, and/or SDN; applying knowledge of Networking concepts including one or more of the following: Netflow and Flowspec; applying understanding of network technologies and protocols including one or more of the following: BGP, VRRP, EVPN; object oriented programming design and languages including one or more of the following: Java, C++, and/or Python; applying normalized database design, optimization, and management in MySQL; applying understanding of cloud services including Azure, virtualization including KVM and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes; applying understanding building containers and microservices; applying knowledge with scripting languages including one or more of the following: Bash, perl, and awk for automation tasks; applying knowledge of SQL, E-R diagrams, ORM mapping and database transactions, triggers, and stored procedures; applying knowledge in Linux usage and certificate/keystore management; applying knowledge of JSON and restful APIs; applying knowledge with multi-threading safe programming, realtime systems, and inter-process communications; applying knowledge in automation and configuration management and CI/CD tools including Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins; applying knowledge of cyber security best practices; applying knowledge with version control systems including Git.
