Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Control Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This individual will serve as the Program Control Manager managing the Fuze & Warhead staff. This position will be onsite in Plymouth, MN, and will report to the F&WH Business Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide best practice program planning and control team support
- Assist the team in development of high-quality Estimates-at-Completion (EAC) and program metrics.
- Manage over 10+ contracts with various contract types (i.e. IWO, FFP, CPFF, CR, T&M, NTE)
- Provide guidance to employees and program team to ensure successful execution of all contracts
- Complete reviews and approves any deliverables for external or internal requirements (i.e. EACs, ASC 606, customer cost reporting, F500 PrOP execution) while empowering employees to grow and learn with defined goals and development plans
- Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure F&WH Director has the data needed to successfully execute programs
- Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
- Assist with audits and SOX compliance
- Lead the development of communications, training plans, and procedure documentation
Basic Qualifications:
- Will consider 12 years of experience in Lieu of degree. Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in CostPoint
- Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
- Understanding of the proposal process
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with technical subject matter experts and business operations personnel.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Ability to travel periodically (~10%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience.
- Experience leading and training program control staff.
- Experience in exchange rates, labor laws, long term assignments along with knowledge of CAS and FAR
