Medical Laboratory Technician - PKIMC Clinical Lab

Providence is calling for a Medical Laboratory Technician in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

$7,500 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Provides accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provides technical expertise to Providence Alaska Medical Center Lab and other healthcare institutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology Or equivalent educ/experience
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Medical Technologists Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Association of Bioanalysts Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
• Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
• Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of clinical lab

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
