Senior AI Innovation Manager  

Role Summary 

The AI Innovation Manager at VF Corporation reports to the Sr Director of Transformation and AI Strategy – they are a hybrid strategist, builder, and creative technologist responsible for identifying, prototyping, and scaling AI-driven solutions across brands, functions, and global teams. This role sits at the intersection of technology, design, and business transformation, translating emerging AI capabilities into real business impact across marketing, creative, design, merchandising, and operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor emerging AI tools, platforms, and partners relevant to apparel and adjacent industries 

• Identify, evaluate, experiment and pilot new use cases with focus on marketing, creative, and design to support VF brands  

• Determine high-value AI use cases and develop scaling strategies 

• Assist in developing AI-powered workflows, templates, and approaches for scaling use cases supporting design, content creation, marketing, operational processes, etc. 

• Create reusable templates, prompts, and toolkits tailored to VF use cases 

• Implement scaled use cases and drive change management with brand partners 

• Partner cross-functionally to embed workflows into day-to-day operations 

• Develop libraries of AI-generated assets (creative, product, marketing) 

• Build relationships with vendors and partners to accelerate AI innovation 

• Onboard new technologies and tools 

• Assist with the Design and deliver workshops and training on AI tools and workflows; create documentation and playbooks for ongoing use 

• Creative & Design Support 

• Support creative teams with AI-enabled design, concepting, and asset generation 

• Ensure outputs align with VF brand identities and quality expectations

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Technical Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, Masters is a plus 

• 5+ years of experience in Innovation, design, or creative  

• Experience with generative AI, design AI tools, and workflow automation platforms 

• Capability in technical design and AI-assisted workflows 

• Experience building simple-to-moderate workflows and prototypes 

• Ability to translate concepts into scalable solutions 

 

Hiring Range:

$138,240.00 USD - $172,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
