Senior Member Technical Staff 2

Model N is seeking Senior Member of Technical Staff-2 for its High-Tech Platform Development team remote, US. This role will be reporting to the Director, Product Development. Successful candidates will have worked in organizations that have produced browser-based enterprise business applications, will be able to develop at different levels in a software system, and will have developing design skills.Model N Channel Data Management delivers consistent, accurate, and real-time visibility into sales channels for our customers. This fully automated data management application seamlessly collects, standardizes, and enriches point-of-sale (POS), inventory, sales-in-sales-out (SISO) and claims data from global channel partners with virtually no human intervention. We are a multi-tenant, SaaS application with high volumes of transactional data  processing. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality projects on time through the ability to design architecture, write high-quality code, and execute effective unit tests.
• Should be able to identify and reuse existing components or define new reusable components.
• Analyzes software requirements to determine design feasibility within time.
• Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, excelling at pinpointing and resolving problems in early project stages.
• Working equally well in self-managed and team-based Agile projects and the ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to other team members.
• Being self-motivated and a willingness to pick up and learn is key for this role.
• Work with internal customers to gather business processes and project requirements.
• Follows technical/ business processes; helps support change when necessary.
• Be able to prioritize work assignments and deliver on time.
• Deliveries need to include appropriate documentation as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work equally well in self-managed and team-based Agile projects.
• Provide application support to our production systems groups.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently communicate technical topics to all levels within the team.
• Optimize performance tuning for high utilization 24x7 access.
• Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the technical area.

Qualifications:

• ·       8+ years of relevant software development experience
• ·       Strong object-oriented design and Java programming skills
• ·       Enterprise application development experience with J2EE application servers
• ·       Experience with Oracle, SQL required; Performance tuning is a plus.
• ·       Experience in the following is required:
• Java, Node.js/Typescript, Python
• Relational database experience (Oracle, Postgres, MariaDB)
• Spring framework
• Webservices (REST, GraphQL)
• AWS, Azure or GCS experience
• Salesforce
• ReactJS
• ·       Experience in the following is preferred:
• Microservices
• CI/CD
• Docker
• ·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ·       Experience with Unix or Linux preferred
• ·       Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
