Cognite’s Cognite Data Fusion makes the operational data available at scale and adds value to the data through data processing. This enables asset-intensive industries to make data-driven decisions. Our platform is built on various technologies, each good at solving various challenges. </span><br/><span>We believe in autonomous teams with developers, product managers and technical program managers working closely together. You'll work with skilled engineers on a critical authentication and authorization service, using the latest technologies and iterating quickly with end users for better product experiences. </span><br/><span>This position is a hybrid role working from the Oslo office. </span><br/><span>As the first line of defense for securing privileged customer data, our work is crucial for customer and company success. Operating at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and feature development, our developers tackle creative technical challenges daily and engage with Cognite's most impactful business problems.</span> <h3>As an engineer at Cognite you will</h3> <ul> <li>Drive feature development and maintenance for Cognite Data Fusions's authentication and IAM services</li><li>Create innovative and robust solutions for identity/access management and auditing</li><li>Collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while shaping product and technical direction</li><li>Monitor and ensure the health of authorization services across all clusters</li><li>Tackle CVEs, defects and manage technical debt</li><li>Keep our documentation fresh and helpful with FAQs, guides, and best practices</li></ul> <h3>We believe most of these should match you and your experience</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of software engineering experience in languages like Rust, Kotlin, C# or Python</li><li>Experience or motivation to become an expert in authorization, authentication and security</li><li>Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring codebase quality, and adapt quickly to new coding languages as needed</li><li>Experience with large Cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and multi-cloud Kubernetes environment</li><li>You can prioritize your tasks and distribute your time and resources most efficiently to optimize for impact </li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to track down information in logs, traces, and metrics and take appropriate action based on findings</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><br/>Don’t meet every single requirement?
