Team Leader Industrial Engineering - High Voltage Electronics

Our High Voltage Department from Vitesco Brasov is looking for a new colleague!

 

As part of the team you will be responsible of: 

 

• Guide and motive the manufacturing and maintenance engineers in the operational activities.
• Sets team goals and KPIs - and derives individual goals. Follows up on goals completion;
• Structures work, delegate tasks and sets deadlines - Follows up on work completion within given deadlines;
• Drive and supervise production processes, cost improvement projects;
• Maintain relations with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions;
• Provide comprehensive technical support and expertise for the assigned production lines, focusing on optimizing processes and ensuring smooth operations;
• Plan and control of costs vs budget as well as resources (equipment, people, material);
• Reduce production expenses by optimizing material management method, machine maintenance level and by improving operator's quality sense;
• Define the requirement of the department in term of people and knowledge and define annual training plan for them.

What will you need to succeed:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
• Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in a leading position demonstrating strong technical expertise in production processes;
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as manage a team;
• Ability to partner and to collaborate with people at all levels - individual engineers, managers, and executives;
• Prior exposure to the automotive industry, preferably around 3 years, with a deep understanding of the automotive environment;
• Proven track record in cultivating and sustaining relationships across various organizational levels;
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, at a fluent level.
