Job Description
Working in Statkraft Corporate Audit
Corporate audit is an independent function which assists the Board of Directors and Management in assessing whether Statkraft’s most significant risks are sufficiently managed and controlled. Corporate Audit enhances and protects organisational value and improve operations by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight related to governance, risk management and internal control. Corporate Audit is a key contributor to continuous improvements. Further, Corporate Audit is responsible for managing reported concerns in Statkraft and internal investigations in situations where this is required.
We look for a Project Manager Internal Audit, an experienced professional, to lead a number of internal audits per year.
You will be in contact with corporate and senior management across business and staff areas, technologies, and geographies. Auditing entails traveling and provides an opportunity to experience different cultures and a broad perspective of Statkraft as a global organisation.
As Project Manager Internal Audit you will:
- Contribute to develop Statkraft’s annual audit plan
- Deploy best in class audit methodologies and tools
- Plan and execute complex internal audits in line with audit plan and mandate and in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Provide an independent and impartial assessment of the Group’s risk management and internal control on topics audited
- Present results from audits to management
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Corporate Audit’s way of working
- Provide expertise on use of data analytics across internal audits
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced professional, with:
- Master's degree (preferably in Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, Audit, Law, Engineering) or bachelor's degree with relevant experience
- High personal integrity
- Strategic mindset, with an analytical, structured, and systematic approach
- Agile and proactive with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in English, proficiency in other languages is an advantage
- Established experience with audit methodology or subject matter expertise within a field relevant to a company like Statkraft and willingness to learn audit methodology
- Experience from use of data analytics
- Eligibility for security clearance and authorization
