Procurement and Logistics Analyst

Key Role:

Work alongside thought leaders in acquisition, readiness, strategic operations, and analytics on high-visibility projects for improving the readiness and lethality of soldiers across the United States Navy. Use skills and expertise in logistics, automated systems, and strategic operations to research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and provide global logistics support to Navy and DoD clients. Utilize expertise in logistics and sustainment best practices to modernize and optimize the supply chain operations of a major Navy organization to increase strategic readiness for the Navy and DoD. Further your career while creating mission-forward solutions. Develop, implement, and manage supply chain streams and solutions. Apply specific functional knowledge and general industry knowledge. Develop and contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and with senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Navy or DOD Logistics and Procurements

• Experience with procurement or contracts management

• Experience with Requisition and Invoice Documentation, including DD1149

• Experience with developing and maintaining integrated logistic plans, procedures, and Logistic Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), adhering to compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing procurement and inventory management

• Experience with researching technical CE and GFE, or project required equipment and material specifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

• Experience with direct programming in the full life-cycle logistic support for a system acquisition project

• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS)

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED
