About the role
- The Human Resources Specialist serves as a key support role within the Human Resources Department. This position assists in various aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR policies and procedures.
- The Human Resources Specialist provides assistance in day-to-day activities, such as processing personnel actions, maintaining HR records, compiling reports, conducting orientations, and ensuring adherence to federal and state laws.
- With strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a customer service-oriented approach, the Human Resources Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the efficient and effective functioning of the HR department and contributing to overall organizational success.
What you'll do
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and classifications.
- Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
- Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
- Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
- Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
- Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.

Final pay, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, education, licenses/certifications, and/or geographic location, underscores our dedication to pay equity.
