Job Description
The Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)/Rare Disease Business Unit is recruiting an Associate Director of Healthcare Consumer (HCC) Marketing for PAH in the United States. The Associate Director of HCC Marketing will lead key elements of the consumer marketing campaign strategy and execution for a therapy that recently launched in the US. This role will report directly to the US HCC Marketing lead for PAH.
Ideally, the candidate will have knowledge of the US pharmaceutical market, experience in direct-to-consumer marketing strategies and campaigns, experience in specialty or rare disease therapy commercialization, and an understanding of US regulatory environment.

This position is location agnostic.
For remote employees, up to 25% travel to our HQ office in North Wales, PA
Primary Responsibilities:
Guide the development and execution of omnichannel consumer education and marketing campaigns
Effectively manage agency and vendor partners to develop and deploy compelling and compliant campaign tactics, within timeline and budget
Identify and pursue opportunities to promote health equity and address social determinants of health through patient support and educational campaigns
Drive inclusive and multicultural marketing initiatives, including transcreation and translation of tactics
Leverage customer insights, data, and analytics to make strategic choices, optimize campaigns, and drive continuous improvement
Partner closely with other members of the US PAH Consumer Marketing Team to meet quarterly objectives
Collaborate with brand team and cross-functional stakeholders and to ensure consumer marketing strategy is integrated and aligned with overall brand priorities and strategies for other segments
Champion priorities in the development and execution of consumer marketing strategy and facilitate internal resource trade-offs, as needed. Escalate issues that represent significant barriers to execution and/or business impact
Think innovatively, challenge status quo, and gain support to address gaps
Education:
Required: BA/BS
Preferred: MBA or MPH
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant knowledge, including marketing
Knowledge of specialty and/or rare disease marketing
Proven success in executing impactful marketing campaigns
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to partner across the organization
Business and financial acumen
Bias for action and a strong sense of urgency
Strong passion for the patients we serve
Commitment to ethics and integrity
Experience being a part of diverse teams in a solid line and/or matrix environment
Strong communication skills and executive presence
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Rare disease consumer marketing
Knowledge of PAH therapeutic area
Strong understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements
Solid understanding of social and digital media
