Velsipity, a priority brand for Pfizer, is a novel S1P receptor modulator that received FDA approval in October 2023 for the treatment of adults with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis. The role of US Velsipity Consumer Marketing Director is a tremendous opportunity to join an agile, innovative and groundbreaking group of colleagues.
Given the substantial unmet need for UC patients, the robust product profile, and our history in the GI therapeutic area, we project this product to become a significant revenue contributor within the portfolio. A critical element of a successful launch in this crowded category is to continue driving awareness of Velsipity as an oral advanced therapy option, which is highlighted within our synergistic Consumer and HCP campaigns.

This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced consumer marketer to lead several Pfizer-first, bold initiatives and demonstrate significant leadership across the marketing and cross functional team.
The Consumer Marketing Director, Velsipity, will lead the development of insights-driven, direct to consumer advertising campaigns, patient materials, media budget and holistic tactical plan across the omnichannel ecosystem, including Digital TV/Video.
This position will report to the US Velsipity Consumer Lead and will work closely with cross-functional colleagues and external vendors.
How You Will Achieve It:
- Develop best-in-class Consumer advertising campaigns, aligned with consumer strategy, to drive patient awareness and action.
- Support development and execution of insights-driven, short- and long-term consumer strategy and tactics.
- Develop and execute branded consumer tactics across omnichannel ecosystem (including Digital TV/Video). Manage campaign evolution.
- Deepen and elevate CoLab, CMO and Velsipity integration, both strategically and tactically.
- Lead media strategy, budget and plan across omnichannel ecosystem, including innovation.
- Lead analysis and development of future EPC audience segmentation builds in close collaboration with ISE and CoLab.
- Develop holistic learning and measurement plan, monitoring key metrics to evaluate the implementation and ROI of key patient marketing initiatives and optimize accordingly to maximize plan output.
- Collaborate with the US HCP and Access teams and I&I teams to identify ways to improve patient outcomes and ensure cohesion across customers.
- Champion innovation, seek learnings from other brands and other industries to elevate and amplify approach.
- Serve as a mentor for other marketers on the team.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of broad pharmaceutical experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- US Consumer brand marketing experience is required.
- Demonstration of strategic and tactical marketing capabilities with proven creative and analytical/problem solving skills.
- Strong team player.
- Prior experience with TV/Video production and OPDP submissions.
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally and driving cross-functional groups to alignment and action.
- Strong business acumen with proven communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior leadership.
- High-energy, proactive self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and innovate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA preferred

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- US role based in New York or Collegeville
- Travel of up to 20% of the time
