Overview

All of the listed duties are to occur in congress with previously assigned nursing responsibilities.  Responsible for the day-to-day activities of nursing. Performs oversight related to appropriateness of the nursing care and documentation.

Understands and applies techniques to support the development of nursing procedures based on best practices. 
 

Acts as an expert resource to the staff.  Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings in a collaborative manner resulting in achievement of best patient outcomes.

Participates actively in departmental and system wide teams, committees, or other improvement.

What You Will Do:

 Nurse Team Lead: Assists with orientation for all new nurses, serves as mentor for nursing staff after orientation.  Serves as team resource.  Encourage growth and collaboration throughout department. 

Provide ongoing education and follow up team.  Maintain documentation of any orientation/trainings provided and provides this to manager. 

The Nurse Team Lead will also help to monitor the use of break times and lunches by staff. Collaborates with manager for annual skill competency of team. Assists manager with data collection, analysis and distribution as needed.

The Nurse Team lead will also monitor the supplies and medications in the offices, and reorder at the direction of the manager.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

$21.85 - $33.87
