(S)VP of Product
Firefly HealthAbout the role
Be a part of the team building the future of healthcare!
Firefly Health is building a revolutionary new type of comprehensive health "care and coverage,” powered by a relationship-driven care team, a trusted virtual and in-person clinical network, and our proprietary technology platform.
Founded by experienced clinicians and technology leaders, Firefly Health is on a mission to deliver half-priced health care that's twice as good, clinically and emotionally. We are flipping the script on what it means to be a health plan and actually providing a true health benefit to members.
We are intensely focused on optimizing the physical + mental + financial wellbeing of those who want (and deserve) something better than the status quo. If you are ready to roll up your sleeves and take on our audacious mission, then we would love to hear from you.
Your Role
We are currently looking for a (S)VP of Product who is passionate about changing the way health care is accessed, delivered, and financed. As (S)VP of Product, you are responsible for the strategy and execution of all product-related activities for Firefly Care, Network & Navigation, our proprietary Tech Platform, and the Firefly Health Plan. You will have the opportunity to work with products at various stages, not only owning and further shaping our current product offerings, but also developing new products to support business needs. This is a hands-on role that reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with our engineering, clinical, growth, and operational teams as well as other stakeholders to ensure that we are continually putting our members first.
You will:
- Use your expertise to define and refine the patient journey, optimize interfaces and drive continuous improvements to exceed patient expectations
- Use your leadership ability and expertise to set our product vision and execution plan
- Collaborate closely with the Executive team, Clinical & Operations team, Engineering team, Finance, and other key stakeholders to further define the product roadmap to achieve our mission
- Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies and opportunities related to value-based care and health plans for employers and carriers to drive product innovation and maintain a competitive edge
- Build, grow, and lead a high-performing product management team
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that embodies our Firefly values: Put Member First, Earn Trust Every Day, Embrace Discomfort, Rise Together, Remove The Bloat
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success of our products
- Regularly analyze product performance, user behavior from both members and clinicians, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform future product iterations
- Leverage Firefly’s deep well of quantitative and qualitative metrics to help the company develop a deeper perspective on the problems, desires, and needs of both Firefly members and the broader market for tech-enabled, value based primary care
- Translate opportunities and insights into a validated product vision that’s compelling for Firefly customers and actionable for our design, tech, clinical, and operational teams
You’d be a good fit if you have:
- The desire to be on the front lines of healthcare delivery with an interest in thinking about the financing and payment of care as well
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus
- Proven experience as a senior product leader, preferably working with tech-enabled services within healthcare delivery or a related field
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into impactful product solutions
- Experience in managing complex products at various stages of maturity and creating product roadmaps that align with business objectives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of building and managing high-performing product teams
