Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to implement and facilitate CI tools and methodologies as well as the help to mature Chromalloy Continuous Improvement program. To monitor progress and support as necessary to drive project implementation and sustainability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Works with Regional CI lead, Site CI Lead, local CI coordinator(s) and others where applicable to learn and apply the lean tools in critical areas of opportunity.
- Train and develop associates at all levels.
- Must be able to manage and interact effectively with diverse groups and personalities.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Must have strong written and presentation skills.
- Coordinates mapping of value streams to develop improvement targets.
- Times studies to identify and eliminate waste in manufacturing cycle times.
- Supports reduction in TAT and other key metrics with innovative technical solutions.
- Facilitates training, team meetings and kaizen events.
- Supports and positively drives 5S improvements.
- Consults with suppliers and customers as needed to achieve goals.
- Motivates and mentors others in the continuous improvement culture.
- Inspires a culture of change and improvement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Strong communication and presentation skills (Bilingual: English/Spanish a plus). Ability to develop training presentations, standard work documents, newsletter articles. Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point. Additional computer skills a plus.
