Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student - Manufacturing Engineer for John Deere located in Davenport, IA, you will...
- Supports manufacturing processes and production
- Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
- Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
- Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.
- Develop plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing.
- Assists in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
- Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
- Graduation date of May 2026 or later.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
- Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Pursuing Engineering Degree
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering; others may apply.
