The HR Manager will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and administration of Human Resources policies, objectives, procedures, processes, and systems. Support office administration.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and support business goals through HR best practices.
- Oversee the drafting, editing, and formatting of companywide policies, procedures, and communications.
- Lead performance review programs, compensation reviews, employee retention, engagement, team-building initiatives, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Support payroll processing and collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Manage the full onboarding process, including system changes in ADP Workforce Now and Salesforce, offer letters, employee communications, background screening, new hire orientations, systems setup, and first-day coordination, and new employee check-ins.
- Oversee the offboarding process, including system changes in ADP Workforce Now and Salesforce, employee communications, and providing payroll with necessary information. Conduct exit interviews to identify trends and provide actionable feedback.
- Ensure compliance with I9s, including OPT/CPT, H1B, and L visa work authorizations, and work with immigration specialists for timely immigration actions.
- Oversee ADP HRIS administration, reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual), and ensuring data integrity across personnel records.
- Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local workplace laws and regulations, ensuring full compliance.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, including company meetings, events, and programs to promote a positive company culture.
- Oversee benefits administration, serve as the primary point of contact for employees and benefit carriers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure effective resolutions.
- Evaluate and manage employee benefit programs (health insurance, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, PTO) to ensure cost efficiency and consistency across regions.
- Drive employee training and development initiatives to upskill and retain top talent.
- Handle sensitive employee relations matters with confidentiality and integrity, providing guidance to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support business goals by leading HR initiatives and offering guidance on best practices as a trusted advisor and business partner.
- Provide coaching to managers on employee development, performance management, and leadership skills.
- Build strong cross-department relationships to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient coordination of HR processes.
- Take ownership of other HR projects and duties as needed or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years of leadership experience managing HR operations for a company with multiple divisions and locations, preferably in the IT services and consulting sector.
- 3+ years of experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Extensive knowledge of employment law, compensation and benefits, immigration, employee relations, training, and development.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Strong experience in benefits administration, 401(k), and leave programs, including design, cost analysis, and implementation.
