We have a strong hands-on and highly collaborative approach to both product development and graphic design systems and ensure ideas are realized to the highest standards of execution.
Are you a creative and curious product designer with a genuine interest in crafting engaging experiences within complex tooling ecosystems? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Associate Product Designer who is eager to dive into interaction design, information architecture, and user-centered data management. In this role, you will transform intricate processes into intuitive, user-friendly designs that enhance the educational experience for both students and teachers.

*This is a contract role, it is a three month contract.
Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design user interfaces and workflows that make complex enrollment and licensing processes and data management accessible, positively impacting students, teachers and administrators .
Contribute to the development of design solutions and frameworks that enhance the interoperability of Amplify’s products, ensuring they work harmoniously within our ecosystem.
Engage in the entire product design process—from ideation and prototyping to user testing and implementation—creating designs that reflect a deep understanding of end-user needs.
Embrace an iterative approach, utilizing stakeholder and user feedback to refine designs and enhance the experience from onboarding to product usage.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather insights and ensure designs align with both user needs and strategic goals, reaffirming Amplify’s role as a trusted partner in education.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years experience with end-to-end product design
A strong interest and/or experience in product design within the ed-tech space, particularly in creating user-centered experiences within complex tooling ecosystems.
Experience or coursework in interaction design, information architecture, and user experience (UX) design methodologies, demonstrating a solid understanding of the entire product design lifecycle.
Proven ability to translate user needs and business goals into effective design solutions, showcasing your blend of creativity and problem-solving skills in a compelling portfolio.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning from feedback, iterating on designs, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with prototyping tools to create interactive design concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with digital product design in education technology or a related field
Enthusiasm for contributing to the landscape of literacy education
Interest in creating user-centered experiences within complex tooling ecosystems.
