As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Buyer, you are the primary purchaser of medications for the Department of Pharmacy. You will order stock from the wholesaler on a daily basis and maintain the department’s inventory in an organized and cost-effective manner. Additional responsibilities include maintaining stock throughout the hospital as directed/needed, managing and maintaining the 340B program, and CPS Cares program (Patient Assistance Program), in addition to performing technician duties and additional administrative duties as assigned. You will perform these duties for both Methodist South and Methodist Northlake locations.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 7a to 3:30p.

Starting Pay: $20 - $22 per hour, (Depending on related work experience).

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred
Indiana Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
PTCB Certification
Previous pharmacy buying experience is strongly desired
Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
