The Job  

We are seeking a reliable Facility Maintenance I to maintain our facility's cleanliness and functionality. This position performs custodial and basic maintenance duties, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas.  Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas. 
• Perform routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom cleaning).   
• Cleaning of air filters for data center.   
• Actively participate in safety policies and procedures. 
• Promote open, respectful, and professional communication within the team with coworkers and leaders across the organization. 
• Operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 
• Participate in the inventory management of tools, parts, and equipment.   
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, product labels, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.   
• Perform minor facility repairs and regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, grounds , and facilities. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.    
• Maintain building grounds (snow removal, landscaping upkeep). 
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. 
• Detect faulty operations and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.      
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas. 
• Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.
