Established in 1994, NeuGroup is the premier membership organization for Finance professionals at the world's most iconic multinational corporations. We create opportunities for our members to exchange knowledge and best practices via in-person group meetings, virtual interactive sessions and benchmarking surveys. We are a fast-growing and dynamic, privately owned company with a passion for delivering excellence in service to our over 270 member companies and 1,000 individual members in 35 peer groups, ranging in focus from treasury to financial planning and analysis, ESG, D&I and Internal Audit.
Our research practice is expanding and includes standalone benchmarking surveys, surveys designed to support specific peer group meetings and in-session quick polls. Unlike traditional research firms, we seek meaningful information by curating data from targeted cohorts within our member community. We focus on surfacing the story behind the data by talking with respondents one-on-one or via small focus groups so we can deliver thought leadership within a practical context.

The Research Director’s primary role is to enable sales and fulfillment of research-centered peer groups, question development, data analysis and validation and assisting the creation of the survey results summary document. This individual will also be responsible for managing survey projects, including production and execution. This is a high-visibility role that includes direct interaction with members and sponsors with exciting growth opportunities.
As a NeuGroup Research Director, you will:
- Create research questionnaires and surveys based on internal and external input
- Curate target audiences and solicit survey responses. Manage reminder schedule, ensuring enough response to make results accurate and trusted
- Create a preliminary and final results document (PPT deck or whitepaper)
- Run additional analysis to identify key trends, summarize results and best practices
- Schedule and participate in 1:1 interviews and focus groups to help develop insightful narrative
- Manage multiple survey projects to meet deadlines from sponsors or for internal quarterly projects
- Curate lists for agreed-upon survey cohorts
- Engage with members to solicit additional responses
- Prepare content and train Peer Group Leaders on delivery of research findings into NeuGroup Treasurers meetings
- Utilize AI tools to pick up on member trends and key topics for further research discussions, topics and papers
Requirements
- BA in finance, business or related area
- 1-2 years of research experience in finance or broader business/management areas
- Tech savviness, specifically: Proficiency in tools used for collection, analyzing, summarizing and formatting data to presentation layer ie Alchemer, Excel, Power BI, and MS products ie PowerPoint and Word
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Project management skills
- Other Qualifications · Use of technology including Salesforce, Alchemer and Asana is preferred · Organized, deadline-driven and detail oriented · Collaborative and intellectually curious · Self-motivated · Able to connect the dots quickly to identify insights and foresights
