The Data & Research business line comprises of Capital IQ Solutions and our core data assets, including Visible Alpha, After Market Research, deep Industry and Company data, and LLM capable offerings such as Pronto. Responsibilities and Impact:
The expectations for a D&R Quantitative Research Specialist are high, but we believe deeply that through autonomy and challenge comes growth and success. We have product specialists and commercial leaders who are eager to help navigate each unique opportunity with one shared end goal.
Here are some of the core responsibilities of the role:
Demonstrate mastery of Market Intelligence’s quantitative product suite in order to design a solution that solves customer’s data related challenge(s)
Develop and execute on territory strategy for Market Intelligence’s quantitative offering(s)
Responsible for supporting both commercial and product initiatives within the Data Management Solutions product portfolio
Execute outbound sales strategies through collaboration with Sales, Product, and Marketing counterparts.
Be entrepreneurial - stay current with industry news to develop marketing initiatives and create client events to attract prospects
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,773 to $119,858. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in product, commercial, or research roles related to the Buy Side industry
Experience in managing and growing business within complex organizations like SAAS.
Strong technical and negotiation skills to close complex deals
Willingness to approach every problem as an entrepreneur with grit, creativity, and persistence
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Salesforce
Strong communication, organization, presentation and negotiation skills.
