BA Wind is responsible for the development, construction and operation of wind power onshore and offshore as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like solar and batteries. We manage the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of wind generation assets, safely and with the highest levels of availability and profitability. We also perform the structuring and execution of project partnerships in accordance with overall wind strategy.
In BA Controlling we are the financial matter experts ensuring performance management, sound decision making and translating business performance of BA Wind by providing transparency of the portfolio, using our finance and system knowledge as well as our internal network influencing realization of BA Wind´s targets and strategy.
Job Description
Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Commercial Administrator in Business Area (BA) Wind.
Purpose of your potential role as Commercial Administrator
To be successful you need to leverage your structured and financial thinking and combine it with a hands-on attitude in our fast-paced environment. As such you will play an important bridge function to ensure smooth end-to-end finance processes, especially the Procure to Pay process and actively taking part in improvement initiatives to bring our processes & systems to the next level. You will ensure that high quality procure-to-pay process is provided as base for procurement. This needs to be done in close cooperation with Vattenfall Group functions, Shared Service Center and the business. As you are exposed to the full span of controlling and finance processes in your daily work an important element will be to identify improvement opportunities and implementing these.
Key tasks and responsibilities include
- Ensuring P2P and invoicing process adherence within Denmark and Sweden, together with Commercial Administration colleagues with a different country focus. Sample activities relate to invoice & credit note handling, invoice coding for parts of the business, creating purchase requisitions, supporting with purchase orders, supporting approval and buying process
- First line support with regards to purchase order requisitions and invoice handling
- Support ordering legal/financial/SAP mandates
- Support with Manual Payments
- Initiate outgoing invoices & Credit notes (Order2Cash)
- Provide ad hoc support (e.g. time writing support, also support for Accounts Payable)
- Being main point of contact for organizing local trainings, knowledge sharing regarding commercial / admin topics (purchasing/purchase orders, invoice handling)
- Support key user communities and P2P governance team
- Fostering usage of purchase orders in BA Wind
- Reducing outstanding overdue invoices
- Ensuring that the business and support functions understand commercial processes (documentation, guidance/work instructions, governance)

Office can either be Kolding or Stockholm
Qualifications
Your profile
- University degree (or equal) in business/finance/ controlling with approx. 2 years of relevant work experience
- Track record of successfully working with financial system landscapes, different data sources and the ability to draw relevant conclusions and/or insights in different tools (e.g. SAP ER, PID, Office 365)
- You are a structured, pro-active and motivated person with strong analytical skills,
- You drive change and continuous improvements and pay attention to delivery as well.
- You are a highly committed person with a high degree of flexibility and self-motivation,
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to function well in an international team environment and interface with a broad range of co-workers spread over multiple locations,
- Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written.
- Experiences in the Wind industry preferable, but not required
