Purpose

This position supports the successful execution of weekly BE seminars by assisting with venue setup, event logistics, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up the venue for seminars, including arranging furniture.

  • Help with cleaning up after seminars, ensuring the venue is tidy and ready for the next event.

  • Assist with preparation for seminars, to include light cooking and food preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure a welcoming environment for seminar participants

  • Basic proficiency in food safety and preparation, or willingness to complete training

  • Dependability and punctuality, especially for early setup and post-event cleanup

Salary

$13/hour

Working Conditions

Responsibilities in a small kitchen include performing light lifting tasks associated with setup, takedown, and restocking activities. Expect to be on your feet during prep and cleanup for about an hour before and after the seminar.

Work Shift

Thursday’s – 2 pm to 6 pm.
