Senior Human Resources Manager

Dover Precision Components (DPC), part of Dover Corporation’s Pumps and Process solutions segment, is hiring a Senior Human Resources Manager. DPC holds market leading positions globally and delivers performance-critical solutions across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical, and general processing markets. We design and manufacture mission-critical equipment components to deliver more affordable, cleaner energy solutions and enable manufacturers to operate more efficiently.

 

The Senior Human Resources Manager leads HR strategy for the Advanced Compression & Sealing Components (ACS) business unit and the Cook Compression and Bearings Plus Aftermarket business units within the United States. As a key member of the HR Leadership team, work closely with senior leaders for both the Compression and Bearings businesses, to support execution of both business unit and company strategy. This position supports employees in the ACS global Commercial Sales teams, Aftermarket US Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, as well as US field service teams. This position will be a direct leader of two (2) HR team members and will report to the Vice President, of Human Resources.

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide HR strategic support to the business units by driving initiatives to achieve or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), growth strategies, while adhering to Company policy and procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on business initiatives including culture, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion an inclusive, equitable and diverse culture, that promotes positive employee relations, development of talent, and retention of talent within the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, such as utilization, productivity, resourcing needs for headcount, overtime, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR KPI’s.
  • Collaborate with the company’s global HR team members and HR shared service functions to support companywide HR initiatives, including Dover Corporation’s talent acquisition team to source and attract critical skills and knowledge, and drive the company’s Employee Value Proposition strategy.
  • Demonstrate positive, direct, and influential leadership and operate with high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Advise both management and employees in HR related matters to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable local laws and regulations.
  • Provide direct leadership and development for HR team members.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years’ progressive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing and/or manufactured goods’ services industry.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading HR teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally supporting business strategies, to meet or exceed Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites, up to 20% travel.

  • HR Professional certification (GPHR, SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP).
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing large-scale HR programs and initiatives with a high focus on Organizational Effectiveness and Design, Talent Development, and Employee Value Proposition strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive employee engagement, identification of organizational opportunities and gaps, determine solutions, and implement change.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify business risks and develop effective mitigation strategies within the business or company.
  • Independent self-starter, with the ability to make sound judgement decisions.
