About the Role:

Cleo is seeking a Chief Spending Officer to literally get paid to spend money. Sounds good? Read on.

What you’ll be doing:

Ok, we’re into the fun sh*t now. 

Do you have an incurable case of Main Character Syndrome? Love spending money but tired of making decisions? Perfect. We’re looking to hire someone who wants to get paid to have zero responsibilities. 

The catch: you won’t get to decide how you spend your money. 

Cleo is hiring a Chief Spending Officer - a job with literally no responsibilities - to live according to the whims of the general public for one month. You’ll have disposable income, but Cleo’s audience will get to vote on how you spend it. Will they vote for the responsible, Cleo-approved spends, or will they let you blow the cash? 

There’s only one way to find out. 

What we’re looking for:

• At least 18 years experience being alive
• Skilled at content creation and down to document your spending journey on TikTok (Okay fine, so you will have this one responsibility)
• Adept at blowing through your budget
• Extensive experience justifying impulse buys
• Excellent at building a relationship with your overdraft 
• Extreme commitment to “the bit” 

We don’t mind:

• If you’re terrible at saving. Cleo can help with that.
