Lead Warehouse Operator 3rd Shift

This position is for 3rd shift; 10:30pm-7:00am.

 

The Lead Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting the supervisor on a daily basis and managing the department in the absence of the supervisor or manager. Helping to oversee the placement and verification of products in the warehouse, you’ll read pick sheets and use computer terminals to identify products, collect them, and place them accordingly into the correct containers.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the department in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager

· Collect, place, and verify products in their correct containers

· Seal cartons manually or with box sealer tape machine

· Restock picking locations and ensure area is properly replaced

· Operate electronic scanning equipment

· Perform all functions according to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

· Maintain clean and orderly work area

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: 

· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience

· Prior warehouse experience

 

SKILLS: 

· Ability to write simple correspondence

· Basic mathematical skills

· Ability to respond to verbal and written instructions

· Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc… within a manufacturing environment
