Registered Nurse RN - Patient Safety & Quality

The RN Safety & Quality provides oversight of service line quality, safety and regulatory standards. Monitors, performs and manages performance improvement processes to proactively promote implementation of evidence based best practices and resolve deficiencies. Collaborates with administrative leaders, team members and medical staff to attain the service lines desired results. Designs, coordinates, facilitates and educates staff on interdisciplinary activities to continually improve quality, safety and regulatory compliance across the service line.  Performs data collection, analysis and reporting of performance improvement activities to ensure compliance.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of nursing experience in service line required.
• 2 years of education and/or accreditation experience preferred.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
• Preferred: Master's Degree in nursing or related healthcare field.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Certification Name: Current license to practice as a registered nurse
• Certification Name: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification Name: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Certification Name: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
