Director of Property Management Systems, Multifamily & Hospitality

The Director of Property Management Systems will provide technical oversight with planning, implementation, and management of property management systems across multifamily and hospitality portfolios. Reporting to the VP of Systems, the Director of Property Management Systems will be responsible for enhancing user experiences, ensuring efficient system operations, and producing innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems. This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the technology ecosystems for the business.

What You Will Do:

• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including property management, operations, and finance to ensure systems align with business needs
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate, implement, and optimize property management technology
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities to increase operational efficiency
• Lead the deployment of new property platforms and system upgrades ensuring systems are optimized for compliance, scalability, and data security standards
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in property technology, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities and stay ahead in the market
• Oversee the performance of the existing technology stack, implementing proactive solutions to address any issues and enhance system reliability and uptime
• Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and policies for the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of property management systems

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in property management systems with a focus on multifamily and hospitality sectors
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of study from accredited institutions an asset
• A combination of education, certifications, and experience will be considered
• Ability to learn quickly, self-start, and work in a high paced environment with little supervision
• Enthusiastic personality with great communication skills
• Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Technically minded with a strong passion for technology
• Thrives in a team atmosphere
