The Role:
We are looking for a teammate who will be a champion for our customers. We are committed to exceeding customer expectations, driving a culture of constant improvement and innovation.
You will be an advocate for client needs through a deep understanding of our business, customer experimentation and data-driven decision making. Stay updated on the latest front-end tools and best practices while ensuring we have a highly performant, responsive, and SEO optimized web presence. Mentorship and cross-organizational thought leadership.   This will be a hybrid role where you'll be onsite 2-3 days a week.   Responsibilities:
  • Understand the business domain, architecture, content management and web technology stack and current system operations
  • Build, maintain and improve Forge marketing public experiences, integrating with data providers both internal and external
  • Hands on technical design, architecture, coding, and overall team delivery, while influencing and owning technical decisions for front-end application design and domain integration
  • Act as a technical lead and mentor for a distributed team, ensuring code quality, maintainability and best practices through code reviews and mentorship, with a focus on front-end design and techniques
  • Develop concise, articulate, and detailed documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into scalable, robust software solutions, acting as a consultant on front-end applications and championing highly functional iterative delivery partnerships with Product, Design, and other engineering teams
  • Investigate and recommend guidelines for use of internal and external frameworks and new technologies, as/when they align to business needs
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • HTML and CSS expertise; partnering with UI/UX designers to create pixel perfect renditions swiftly in a highly-maintainable performance manner
  • Advanced Content Management System expertise (ProcessWire, WordPress, etc.) and automated CI/CD pipeline and code management systems
  • Knowledge of Event Driven Architectures, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSocket, and other web communication protocols
  • Deep knowledge of patterns, antipatterns, best practices, and methodologies for building large scale Customer-facing solutions, including build optimization and bundling tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience programming in C# and .NET technologies
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure
  • FinTech or Financial Services industry experience or other highly regulated related field
  • Experience at high-growth, venture-backed startups and scaling them post-IPO
