Role Definition
Oracle Accounting Support Senior Accounting provides comprehensive support for the Oracle Financial applications, performing in-depth analysis of new processes and product offerings, assisting with testing and deployment for releases, and developing tailored Oracle solutions to meet business needs.   This role requires a deep understanding of the Oracle systems, focusing on tax, accounts payable, and the ability to troubleshoot and implement system improvements.

Responsibilities
• Conduct analysis and documentation of new processes, business requirements and products, ensuring alignment with US GAAP accounting practices and US Tax.   

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the impact of Oracle financial changes and new features.
• Assist in testing and validation of Oracle system enhancements, patches and releases

• Coordinate with IT and business units to support Oracle Financial deployments, development and ensuring smooth rollouts and user adoption.

• Provide end-user support, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities for process improvements within Oracle. 

• Design and develop custom Oracle solutions to address specific business requirements, enhancing financial reporting and operations.

  • Perform regular audits and reviews of Oracle system configurations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and adherence to Sarbanes Oxley.
